Get Meals

The prevalence of senior hunger, particularly among those aged 60 and older, has surged by 53% since 2001. Without essential food assistance, many of our vulnerable seniors would grapple with the stark reality of going without sustenance. Faced with difficult choices, they are often forced to weigh the importance of groceries, medication, and utilities against each other. A significant number of seniors live on a fixed income and rely on supplemental feeding programs to make ends meet.

“Senior hunger and malnutrition are pressing issues in the U.S., with over 10 million older Americans at risk of hunger and approximately 10% of adults experiencing malnutrition.”– National Council of Aging
